Custom and Insert Braais

We are THE company to call if you need a custom unit. We specialize in the design and manufacture of custom and INSERT braais - braais made-to-fit your brick braai opening. This saves you a lot of money on the breaking open and closing up of the brickwork in order to make a standard braai fit. You can either opt for a "complete" insert braai with your choice of style doors, or just an Ashpanbraai (AKA Table braai). Speak to our experienced salesman who can guide you through the process.

All units are available in mild steel, 3CR12, stainless steel and a combination of materials. I.e., you can have a 3CR12 braai body and insides (sprayed black and virtually rust free) with a 304 stainless steel facade.

All units - even mild steel inserts - are supplied with a stainless steel grid/s.

How to measure your braai for an insert

Simply follow these easy steps, email us your measurements and picture, and we will quote you for the manufacture of your own custom braai. You even have a choice between standard doors (top and bottom), cabinet doors or slide-in doors, materials and whether a standard, combination or spit braai.

Ashpanbraais (AKA Tablebraais)

If you do not want a complete insert braai, speak to us about an Ashpanbraai. Available in 7 standard sizes, we can also custom make one to your size and specifications. Available in 600 and 700mm without coalmaker, and 800, 1000, 1200, 1500 & 1800mm - with or without coalmaker. Our old-style units used to have grid runners on the sides, where our re-styled units sport grid-hooks on the back of the unit.

All units are available in mild steel, 3CR12 or 304 stainless steel, and are supplied with a stainless steel grid/s.

Frames & Doors

Do you have a brick braai, and you really do not want a steel insert? Is the wife saying the braai is an eye-sore? Add a frame with doors to cover up the braai when not in use, and make both parties happy. Choose between black mild steel or 3CR12, or brushed stainless steel. Stainless steel façades available in brushed 304 or 316 stainless. You even have a choice between standard doors (top and bottom), cabinet doors or Slide-in doors. With our new closing mechanism, you are sure to be impressed.
