Mildsteel and Stainless steel Portables
All our portables are manufactured from either 3mm hot-rolled mildsteel or 2.5mm 304 stainless steel. It is supplied standard with: removable legs, removable handles, a grid, worktop and potjiehook. The grid has a fold-up removable handle.
The 500, 600 & 800 mm portables are supplied with one grid.
The 1000, 1200 & 1500 mm portables are available as a de Luxe unit with 2 grids, OR with a coalmaker and one or two grids.
Mildsteel portables are supplied with silver-plated legs, and electro-plated grid and worktop.
Stainless steel portables are supplied with stainless steel legs, grid and worktop.
All sizes portables also available in 3CR12 - supplied with stainless steel grids.
Also available as optional ekstra are dust covers, lids or roasting domes and even rotisseries.

Glazed both inside and outside – it can be cleaned to look almost like new. Most importantly, it has a height adjustable grid - twenty cm of adjustment to be precise. At its lowest setting, it can support a potjie. The box is an integral part of the package - sturdy plywood with lid and hand holds.

With the Camp Fire, you can make a fire just about anywhere without leaving an unsightly mess of half burnt logs and blackened stones behind when you move on, as often seen in wilderness campsites. The aluminium ash bowl that sits beneath the bowl also acts as a heat deflector meaning the majority of the heat is directed away from the ground. However, still apply good, safe practise and use the Camp Fire either on bare ground or, if need be, a grassy field. There will be minimal damage to the grass, if any. The Camp Fire is also perfect for picnics and small spaces like a patio or balcony. If needed, it can be cooled down rapidly using water. No need to wait for hours before it can be packed away. The box also has room for your braai tongs.

The ceramic fire grate should never be used when wet. If it is unavoidable to use a wet fire pit, start with a small, cool fire to completely dry the ceramic body. After 20 – 30 min of gentle drying it is safe to make a hot fire. Remember to empty the ash container of water before using the Fire Pit.
The Camp Fire and Fire Pits are guaranteed against thermal shock damage. Dropping or hard knocks, however, are not covered. Should any product fail due to an unseen factory defect, Earthfire will honour the warranty.
